Geek Chic

I used the Osmo Shaper, one of my most favorite products for creating a Geek Chic look. He had a lot of hair, so we used a generous amount rubbed into the hands, then worked through the hair. Using a comb for a clean, classic side part.

Beach bunny swimsuit collection fashion show

For the blonde curls I used a 1" Marcel iron. Hairspray each section before curling. Setting and pin curling the entire head and allowing to set until cool. Creating a sexy beach wave.

Makeup for brunettes... Dewey, shimmery eyes and skin with lots of dark lash. Cheeks with muted brick tones. Big red matte lips.

I took Evelyn's long, Miami Beach waves and turned them into a 50's Hollywood bob-glam. Blow dry with large round brush. Use volumizer and hair spray.

Cutie of the day X2

Sunday Funday Is really sweet in Los Angeles when it's 85 sunny and warm. As it gets hotter and hotter buzz cuts will become more popular. Here I have Keith Coogan and Tom Fitzpatrick with 2 styles of buzz cuts. Keith is rocking a fresh high and tight with a Cary Grant on top. I'm loving the side sweep on top with the buzzed sides. Tom is pumping a fauxhawk that comes to a point in the back.

Cutie of the day

Jamison Scala is the Easter/Passover cutie of the day. Cut with a size 3.5 blade. This short men's haircut is left long on top to see texture and color richness. Styled with a dollop of Osmo texture cream. I love the citrus smell of this product.

Gossip from the chair - Reality show coming to TRUST! salon

Just heard that a new reality show is coming to TRUST! Salon. Word in the salon is that talks begin May 5th. Not sure what the title of the show will be called but it's a makeover and dating show. Who will be the real stars of the show? The clients or the hairstylists? Stay tuned for updates.

This is the modern Cary Grant on Alben Paul Endaya. Short on the sides and long on top. Classic fade on the sideburns and neck.

I'm always inspired to cut Eric Saqui's hair. He's got a really awesome hair texture that could be sexy beach boy or faux hawk soccer player. The secret to his hair is creating lots of texture, and using some sea-spray.
